A Brief History
May Heating and Air got its start in Aspinwall, PA in the late 1940's when Robert May opened an appliance store called Bob May's Appliance. The storefront, was located on 1st Street and served the Aspinwall and surrounding communities. The store sold all household appliances and Sherwin-Williams paint.
The appliance store closed in 1957 when Robert took a job selling air coolers to Eat 'n Park restaurants. It was during this time that Robert's entrepreneurial spirit told him he should stay true to his roots and start another small business. With the air cooler knowledge he gained with Eat 'n Park, Robert May along with his son Bob May, founded Bob May Heating in 1966. They carried Fedders air conditioning products, before later becoming Lennox dealers.

The business changed names to it's present name, May Heating and Air, when Robert's grandson and Bob's son Quentin joined the business in 2004. And Bob's other son Alex joined the company in 2017, and handles sales
Today, May Heating and Air Conditioning proudly serves the North Hills of Pittsburgh including the communities of: Allison Park, Aspinwall, Blawnox, Etna, Fox Chapel, Glenshaw, Hampton, McCandless, Millvale, Oakmont, O'Hara, Reserve, Ross Township, Shaler and Sharpsburg.
